Croatia Visa from Dubai

If you’re a UAE resident and want to visit Croatia, you’ll need to apply for a visa before travelling. The process is simple once you know what to prepare and where to go. A lot of people get confused about documents or timing, but it’s really just about following a few clear steps.

In Dubai and Abu Dhabi, visa applications for Croatia are handled by the authorised visa centres. You’ll book an appointment, submit your papers, and wait for the result. Most visas are approved without problems if the documents are correct and your UAE residence visa is still valid.

In this guide, I’ll explain everything you need to know about the Croatia visa from Dubai.

Who Can Apply

Any UAE resident with a valid residence visa can apply for a Croatia visa in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

Here’s the simple breakdown:

  • UAE nationals: Emirati passport holders can travel to Croatia without a visa for stays up to 90 days in any 180 days.
  • Foreign residents: Citizens of India, Pakistan, the Philippines, Egypt, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and most other countries need a visa before travel.
  • GCC citizens living in the UAE: May also apply in Dubai if they hold a valid UAE residence permit.

The main rule: your UAE residence visa must be valid for at least three months after your return from Croatia. If it’s expiring soon, renew it before applying.

Children and dependents can also apply under their sponsor’s UAE residence visa, but each person needs their own application and set of documents.
